In 2024, Emily founded Connections Catalyst & Consulting LLC, a firm dedicated to empowering small businesses, non-profits, and professionals through strategic relationship building, expert project management, and comprehensive professional development.
Prior to establishing her own consulting firm, Emily served as the Employer Relations Manager at Spartanburg Methodist College, where she collaborated with students and employers to facilitate internships and career opportunities. Her role involved strategic planning, program development, and fostering partnerships that enhanced the professional growth of students.
Before this, Emily was the Enrollment Services Program Manager at Sherman College of Chiropractic, focusing on student recruitment, leadership development, community relations, and program management. Her earlier roles as a career coach, marketing coordinator, and event coordinator further honed her expertise in professional development and organizational growth.

Emily holds an Associate in Science from Spartanburg Methodist College, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of South Carolina, and a Master’s in Management of Professional Leadership from Converse University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg.
Emily is married to her husband, Patrick Lausier, the love of her life. She is a proud mother and Ya-Ya, and shares her home with two beloved fur babies—all of whom bring joy to her life.
Each setback and success has contributed to a mosaic of expertise, illuminating her passion for assisting others. Emily’s commitment to community organizations showcases her dedication to service. Her leadership roles in various associations reflect her mission to empower others, remaining steadfast in supporting and uplifting those around her.
